The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation provides protective masks

At the initiative of H.S.H. Princess Charlene and Her brother Gareth, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation wanted to take part in the fight against the global epidemic of Covid-19 by providing protective masks free of charge.
5,000 of these alternative masks made of high performance fabric have been produced. They carry the #strongtogether message, a strong message of unity and solidarity encouraged by Their Highnesses Prince Albert and Princess Charlene.

On Wednesday 15 April 2020, Mr Gareth Wittstock, General Secretary of the Princess Charlene Foundation and his teams distributed some masks to vendors and customers of the Condamine market. Distribution was also carried out at the Fontvieille shopping center in Monaco and in other food businesses or places of public interest.
These masks, reusable up to 40 times and washable at 60°c, were specifically created for the Foundation by one of its partners, Scicon sports, who specialise in the manufacture of technical sports equipment.

Ambassadors of the Foundation such as Charles Leclerc, the Monegasque Formula 1 driver and Pierre Frolla, quadruple record holder in freediving have joined this campaign.

The Princess Charlene Foundation would like to thank Monaco City Council as well as the volunteers and all the brands who have agreed to participate in this operation.
Remember that wearing this alternative mask is not a substitute for respecting confinement rules and social distancing must be maintained.
