{"id":3998,"date":"2022-12-02T15:20:20","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T14:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationprincessecharlene.mc\/projets\/sospel-natation-azur"},"modified":"2023-01-11T16:16:16","modified_gmt":"2023-01-11T15:16:16","slug":"sospel-natation-azur","status":"publish","type":"projets","link":"https:\/\/www.fondationprincessecharlene.mc\/en\/projets\/sospel-natation-azur","title":{"rendered":"Sospel Natation Azur"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In September 2022, the Foundation joined forces with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sospel.fr\">Town of Sospel<\/a><\/strong> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/paca.ffnatation.fr\"><strong>French Swimming Federation<\/strong><\/a> (FFN) to implement the &#8220;Sospel Natation Azur&#8221; project, which aims to teach the practice of swimming within the school curriculum to children of Sospel as well as of the municipalities of Breil-sur-Roya and Moulinet. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sospel.fr\"><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project allowed nearly <strong>300 children from kindergarten to 6<sup>th<\/sup> grade<\/strong> to acquire the minimum skills to ensure their safety in the water during the 10 sessions, and to take the &#8220;Sauv&#8217;Nage&#8221; test approved by the <strong>Ecole Fran\u00e7aise de Natation<\/strong> and the <strong>FFN.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The outdoor swimming pool of Sospel, closed for 3 years, was <strong>reopened and completely renovated in 2022<\/strong>. This swimming pool, an educational asset for the municipality, will allow the teaching of swimming on a more regular basis in connection with schools and interested leisure centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Usually only accessible in July and August, the pool was designed to accommodate the &#8220;Sospel Natation Azur&#8221; project in September. In 2023, it will also welcome children during the month of June for a greater reach of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is inspired by the program entitled &#8220;La Turbie Natation Azur&#8221; which, since 2014, taught swimming to young children before the beginning of summer at the <strong>Princess Charlene<\/strong> <strong>Municipal Pool<\/strong> in La Turbie, thanks to a partnership between the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the <strong>City of La Turbie<\/strong>, the <strong>C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur Committee<\/strong> and the <strong>FFN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2760,"parent":0,"template":"","category-programmes":[2],"class_list":["post-3998","projets","type-projets","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-programmes-learn-to-swim"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
