3rd edition of the Maria Callas Gala & Awards
The 3rd edition of the Maria Callas Gala & Awards was held this Friday, May 12th in the presence of T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene.
This event celebrates the legacy of Greek diva Maria Callas in Monaco. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Maria Callas, this tribute featured an award ceremony in the “Opera”, “Environment”, “Health & Education” and “Culture” categories followed by a concert at the Monte-Carlo Opera. The Princely Couple also inaugurated the “Maria Callas – 100 years” exhibit inside the Monte-Carlo Casino.
To end the evening, an art auction curated by Art Curial Monaco raised funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation’s educational programmes.
