Princess of Monaco Cup 2023

The Princess of Monaco Cup golf tournament is a “celebrity cup” which gathers partner teams around sports celebrities.

In 2021, the event’s 2nd edition raised funds for the causes of both the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the Fight Aids Monaco association, presided by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. This edition made it possible to finance projects including “Aqwa Itineris”, a portable pool in a trailer meant to make swimming lessons more accessible, and the “Maison de Vie”, a place of respite for people weakened by HIV in Carpentras, France.

In addition to the main event, a unique experience was created and offered exclusively to the teams and to select partners: the symbolic shot of the 19th golf hole at the Place du Casino in Monte-Carlo, the chance to swing away in front of one of the world’s most prestigious buildings. For one evening, this mythical square was converted into a temporary green.

This year in 2023, the Foundation will host guests at the Monte-Carlo Golf Club on Wednesday, September 6th for an entire day of activities. Teams of 3 people will compete against each other for glorious prizes, with the competition following the “Scramble” format rules. This format is a friendly way to play golf, as each team picks up where the best ball among those of each teammate was located – and it makes for a fun, fast-paced group game.

Apart from prizes based on team rankings, individuals can also compete for special prizes such as the “Longest drive” and the “Nearest to the pin” shots, giving the chance to win exceptional gifts.

At the end of the day, the event will again feature the unique “19th hole” in Monte-Carlo.

The Princess of Monaco Cup is the promise of a glamourous all-inclusive experience in the Principality, where partners and celebrities meet to play golf and raise funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation’s educational work.
