In total, 24 teams representing 23 countries are gathered for this edition dedicated to the values of sport and peace.

HSH Princess Charlène, President of the Monegasque Rugby Federation, recalled: “Rugby is a wonderful school of life and the Sainte Dévote Tournament is a vector for peace. On the field, young players from various cultures discover solidarity, humility and trust in others. This annual event beautifully illustrates these values, which accompany children far beyond sports.”

After the parade of nations followed by the Monegasque anthem, the first meetings took place on the grounds of Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

In the morning, the “Rugby for All” initiative allowed school children in the Principality, as well as young adults with disabilities, to discover the joys of the oval ball.
