The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation brings together experts and sports figures to discuss concussions 🧠
On Monday 6 October, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, in collaboration with the Princess Grace Hospital Centre, organised a conference dedicated to concussions and the gradual resumption of intellectual, physical and sporting activities, attended by Mr Gareth Wittstock, Secretary General of the Foundation, and numerous Monegasque sports associations.
The morning session highlighted scientific advances and new recommendations for the prevention and treatment of concussions.
For the occasion, the Foundation also created informative posters for sports associations, presenting the warning signs of a concussion and the actions to be taken quickly to protect athletes.
The meeting brought together medical experts, institutions and sports associations to raise awareness and promote best practices in the field of health and safety for athletes.
Through this initiative, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to protecting children, athletes and the general public from this often misunderstood but sometimes serious injury.
